Lesson 7 Painting

Lesson 7 Painting
Called Girly Grunge. I added some gold bubble wrap imprints that are hard to see in this photo. They are on the left and right edges. When you look at it at different angles you can see different colors which I thought was kind of neat. This isn’t the right angle to see the gold. :(

Lesson 6 Painting

Called “Ode to Petunia”.

I had problems getting the paint to blend on this one.  It has several layers of Polymer Medium (Gloss) and some of the different paints I used didn’t want to stick.  Plus, I got some new crackle stuff that didn’t crack.  It looks more like plaster, which is pretty neat.  There is way to much blue too.

Lesson 5

Called “Color Color!”  This one has a piece of dictionary page and a small section of map on the right.  Some of the color is from paint and some of it is from Neocolor II water soluble crayons.

Lesson 4 Painting

Lesson 4

On this one I went a little wild.  This is called “Cracked Up” but I added melted crayons across the top for color.  The whole thing is coated in Gloss Gel to keep the crayons from cracking off.

HD Camcorder

My new toy for shooting HD videos. It’s cheap but it does a pretty good job.  It does have an annoying autofocus noise that shows up when playing back the video.  I’ve contacted Aiptek’s tech support and they are looking into it.  I might have a bad camcorder. :(

The first video is up over at Vimeo.
